Dr. Jeremy Hayman
Naturopathic Doctor
Dr. Jeremy Hayman, ND is one of Canada’s leading minds in Integrative Cancer Care and Chronic Disease Management. He believes that in order to provide successful patient care, it is critical that evidence based medicine lead the forefront of his approach. As such, he prioritizes the integration of both natural and conventional advances and diagnostics to form the foundation of his medical practice.
To achieve results, Dr. Jeremy uses his principles of integrated care within a comprehensive medical framework to focus on building a foundation of health and quality of life with his patients. Having an integrated approach to cancer and complicated disease states allows Jeremy to be honest and realistic with his patients, while still providing what is necessary in order for patients to achieve the results they require.
Dr Jeremy understands that cancer is a complex disease process, and one that requires intricate clinical attention and full medical perseverance. Whether it’s supporting patients through the conventional treatment process, helping to reduce side effects, or working to improve specific cancer outcomes, he always ensures a very precise, effective and realistic approach.
An avid naturalist, Dr. Jeremy can be found hiking with his family or camping on his days off; exploring the beauty of Nova Scotia after a move to Nova Scotia in search of a better quality of life. He brings this same balance to that of his practice as well; approaching medicine and health as an exploration of unique and individual parts, which work together in harmony to achieve the best of… shall we say, both worlds.
Pragmatic to the core, Dr. Jeremy is focused on providing the best level of primary care, alongside his devoted focus on cancer support. In addition, Jeremy appreciates the overall impact of stress and immunity on fundamental health and disease. He believes, above all, that his patients come first, that his treatment plans are exclusive to the person sitting in front of him, and that an integrated medical model is key.
Dr Jeremy Hayman is a professional member in good standing of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND), the Nova Scotia Association of Naturopathic Doctors (NSAND), and dually licensed with the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta (CNDA) and the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Ontario (CONO).
