Amy Caines is known for her deep tissue, therapeutic and detailed approach to massage. A Registered Massage Therapist since 2003 (graduate of the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy), Amy understands intricately how the body works, and what it needs to feel better.
As an active mom of two, Amy infuses her massage with self-care, rehabilitation and supportive therapies to help your body recover faster, and stay healthier for longer. Amy has a special interest in working with athletes, especially teenage athletes, and with her own background in volleyball, basketball and soccer she understands what the body needs to be supported. During your massage, make sure you ask her about her time spent playing volleyball for Saint Mary’s University or at the Canada Games.
Today, Amy can be found outside more often than inside. She’s an avid hiker, camper and all-around athlete, and can be found hiking Cape Split or Polly’s Cove as early as possible on a weekend morning. She spends her evenings cheering on her kids on the hockey rink and the volleyball court or relaxing at home with her two dogs and husband.
Amy is a member in good standing with the National Health Practitioners of Canada Association NHPC)
