Julie Bohémier

Registered Massage Therapist

Born and raised in Nova Scotia, Julie was raised in an entrepreneurial family that nurtured her love of business, where her father mentored her in planning, strategy, negotiation, and more. An unwavering passion for one’s undertakings was communicated from parent to child, and it would be these qualities that urged and empowered Julie to work in her current field.

Following her studies at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, and the acquisition of a BA in business and psychology, Julie went on to study at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Toronto. She has completed a formidable portfolio of certificates in Pregnancy and Infant Massage (including High Risk Pregnancy), Doula training, Sports Massage, Soft Tissue Release (STR) and Low Intensity Laser Therapy (LILT). She’s also versed in modalities such as deep tissue massage, active soft-tissue release, and acupressure – pursuing every avenue available to her in her endeavor to improve the wellbeing of patients and acquaintances alike.

A massage therapist by trade, today you can find Julie working adamantly to translate her desire to improve the health, lifestyle, and wellbeing of Cornerstone’s patients into a company ethos that is clear and, perhaps more importantly, felt. Her role in the design of the clinic was active and uncompromising, as the structure that would ensure the comfort of their patients and the size of Cornerstone’s carbon footprint took shape. When not at the clinic, Julie enjoys quality time with her children Caleb and Elise, as well as her dog and chickens.
