Acupuncture
ACUPUNCTURE
Acupuncture is the use of small disposable sterile needles that are inserted into the musculature of the body. At Cornerstone Naturopathic, acupuncture is commonly used to manage pain and treat muscle tension, fertility concerns and to regulate digestion and hormones.
ACUPUNCTURE TREATMENT
Your Acupuncturist may recommend acupuncture based on your needs. An acupuncture treatment involves disinfecting the area of the body where the needles will be inserted, followed by insertion and manipulation of the needles to achieve the desired result. The duration of the treatment depends on the areas treated, and can range from 20 to 45 minutes.

Acupuncture is an ancient treatment that developed as an integral component of traditional Chinese medicine over 2000 years ago. Acupuncture can be used to treat many health conditions effectively, including migraines, tension headaches, back pain, frozen shoulder, plantar fasciitis, and also aides in quitting smoking and weight loss. Our acupuncturist, Amanda, utilizes both traditional Chinese medicine and trigger point release styles of acupuncture to best treat her patients.
